No Need to Click Here - I'm just claiming my feed at Feedster

Feedster is being really bad about indexing the site, so I thought claiming the feed would help, given that it has to read the site in order to see the "magic link".

It may also just be feedster - the site is really slow. The other issue I see is that if they're indexing only the XML feeds, do they keep history? You're either only going to be searching the most recent month or so of entries, or really old and stale entries. It's not like the web, where typically everything is kept in an archive.

How lame would a search engine be if it only searched this week's news stories, and everything before that was out of the index.
