24.jpeg Doh. I just Netflixed up 24 and after 20 minutes of episode 1, I'm hooked, so awesome. Next up: The Sopranos.

It is very very easy to get hooked on a good series when you can watch several episodes in a single sitting. Momentum is everything.
Some studios are really starting to realize this by releasing a season to DVD quickly. Heroes went a step further and put all of season 1 on Netflix 'Watch Instantly' as well as all the season 2 episodes that have aired so far. They are leaving no excuses for not at least giving this show a try. It's instant stream, free (if you have a netflix account) and with no commercials.

Agree that the momentum of watching several is key. But I stopped watching 24 about 30 minutes into the first episode. It was just so fakey. Elisha Cuthbert was running away from these bad guys and kept running down dark alleys instead of just going into the populated areas you could see in the background. Maybe if I viewed it as a comic book style I could get into it, but meh...

Oh yeah, there are plenty of silly bits, but it's entertaining silliness.

Elisha Cuthbert's character is totally useless. Well, other than wearing super tight tank tops, that is.

Getting close to the end of the last season, Jack Bauer hands the woman a gun.

Jack Bauer: "Do you know how to use this?"
Woman: "No"
Jack Bauer: "Point and shoot."

Awesome.

Why am I still watching this? Seriously.
