Being ready for the desktop does not equate to being successful on the desktop.

I had written a whole paragraph, but then I realized I was talking about Linux and it wasn't worth the space on our server.

The great quote about (desktop) linux is that it's only free if your time has no value. Why are you messing with it?

Every year is the year of Linux on the Desktop. This has been going on since 1997. BTW our host will let us fix that server running Linux glitch easy enough.
