It's a pretty good year for Sci-Fi and Fantasy movie buffs... I grew up reading The Hobbit, LoTR, The Narnia Series, Hitchhiker's Guide and The Phantom Tollbooth, and most of these have become fantastic movies. I guess I can add the Harry Potter books to that list.

Here are the movies that I'm looking forward to this year:

And I thought I was done after the last LoTR.

Well, at least we got to inside the original rebel cruiser again. I felt all nostalgic and stuff.

Darth Vader: "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

I'm looking forward to the Serenity movie the most. Firefly is awesome! Tom Cruise has had a string of lame movies (MI2 being the worst), so I don't know about WOTW. I haven't liked any of the Harry Potter stuff (let's try to make up as many dumb words as we can and put ™ on all of them). Quidditch™ is dumb. Narnia could be OK, except that the books were awesome, and without Peter Jackson directing, I don't see how a movie can live up. I have really low expectations for Star Wars III so it may end up being the most fulfilling of them all!

So am I the only one who actually went to see HHGTTG? I was hoping you guys would go see it so I could find out if I was the only one on the planet to notice the subtly hidden Apple logo in one of the scenes. After weeks of periodic googling, I finally found one other guy who also noticed it. I was begining to think I had imagined the whole thing.

I enjoyed Star Wars. I see the character of Darth Vader more evil now than I did in episodes 4-6.

I need to see Hitchhikers Guide soon.

Serenity could be good and I'll be following it closely.

I have childeren so I will of course be seeing the Hartry Potter movie and Chronicles Of Narnia

Chronicles Of Narnia makes me nervous. Any time they try to turn a clasic into a movie they run the risk of doing so horribly.

War of the Worlds doesn't interest me I'm looking forward to Batman Begins of course I've allways been a comic book guy.

Have I mentioned how disturbing the stories picture is.

I'm not supprised about the Apple logo Adams was a big Apple fan.
