I remember back in '95, there were a bunch of really out there sites (surrealist compliment generator, wilder.net, etc). Alas, they are gone.
Anyways, there are 3 links in the post, and the little squares on the first link all point to random stuff. I thought it was neat.

Ahh, I understand. Ye Olde Webb. I used to love Altavista's "random link" button. I ended up at some sweet sites that way. Web's too full of crap now to hit something decent even 1 in 100 I'd guess.
