I've been using a really nice font in Visual Studio, called ProFont. It looks like the old school Mac small font, and it's free here. I found it through Joel On Software's site.

The picture looks smudgy because I converted the screen-capture bitmap to jpg.

I remember looking into this a while back. I'll have to give it another try.

This reminds me of Turbo Pascal on a 9" B&W Mac screen. Is it ClearType enabled? Does it need to be?

ClearType is enabled (look at the drop down list boxes), but the font itself doesn't look like it. that's actually okay since the smearing effect that ClearType has is something I don't like when coding.
